Throughout this week I participated as an assistant to the X Meeting of the National Network of Educating Cities (RECE) in Alcalá de Guadaira (Sevilla), which has expressed the need for shared responsibility between municipalities, government, educational centers, Families and Citizens for the benefit and improvement of cities.
We have talked at length about the importance of building from the cities themselves a space of intervention in which the city is used as an educational medium.
Among the experiences that have occurred, there was talk of one of them was present in the use of service-learning and the benefits have been achieved and the need to change mindsets and break new ground, not to teach the citizens of the future, but to integrate citizen now.
